Everything you need to know about your tattoo at ACT | INK
You can visit us directly in the studio in Berlin or contact us via our contact form. As soon as we have discussed your motif and the desired body part, we will arrange a fixed appointment together. We will ask for a deposit to confirm the appointment, which will of course be offset against the final price of your tattoo.
We work exclusively with fixed prices, not by the hour. This gives you a clear idea of the costs right from the start, with no surprises. The price is based on size, level of detail, body part and style. After the consultation, you will receive transparent price information from us.
Yes, we only tattoo people over the age of 18. We do not make any exceptions, even with written permission or if accompanied by parents.
Avoid swimming, sauna and solarium in the first few weeks
Do not scratch or rub the tattooed area

After your appointment, you will receive a detailed overview with care instructions from us to take home with you
Yes, of course. However, you should definitely protect the freshly tattooed area from the sun and chlorinated water. This means: no beach, no pool, no direct UV radiation in the first few weeks. This is why many customers opt for the cooler months, when these restrictions are easier to adhere to.
No. We do not tattoo during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Your body and your child have priority during this time, and a tattoo would pose unnecessary risks.
Yes, tattoos over scars are generally possible. Whether and how well a motif can be implemented depends on the depth, size and healing of the scar. We will advise you individually in the studio.
The waiting time depends on the workload of our artists and your desired motif.
The consultation at ACT | INK Tattoo Atelier is free of charge for you. A deposit is only due once we have made an appointment together and are ready to start working on your design.
The deposit secures your appointment and covers the time required for preparation and design. It will of course be offset against the final price of your tattoo. If an appointment is not kept without timely cancellation, the deposit will be forfeited.
A cover-up means that an existing tattoo is reworked with a new motif or completely covered up. There are different options depending on the size, color and age of the old tattoo. We always check individually what is feasible and develop a suitable concept together with you.
We ask that you come to your appointment unaccompanied in order to ensure a calm and relaxed atmosphere and to be able to comply with the hygiene regulations in the studio.
